ESSEn/GARTEN
Exhibition 15.03.–22.03.2013
With Pupils of the Robert-Koch-Gymnasium
Curator Paul Huf
An important part of SAVVY Contemporary’s concept is to encourage young people to get involved in arts through various educational projects. In this light, we have invited students from 7th to 12th grade of the Robert-Koch-High School in the pluri-cultural Berlin-Kreuzberg to develop an exhibition.
A series of art works were produced that deliberate on the contemporary notions of ESSEN/GARTEN (FOOD/GARDEN). The students were guided in this education-artistic journey by the artist/photographer Paul Huf and their art teacher Carlo Nordloh.
A selection of these artistic experiences are displayed atSAVVY Contemporary’s space, thereby crowning the fourth collaboration of the Robert-Koch-High School and SAVVY Contemporary in three years.
