Let’s get together in sound

In this workshop series, Ola Zielińska will share practices of embodied sounding, drawing on Eastern European singing traditions. The session will include guided vocal and body exercises, followed by scored improvisations. Together, we will explore where our voices originate, how far they can travel, where they want to move and how they feel in encounters with others.

Learning traditional singing is a process of grounding in the body and in the present moment. It invites us to arrive as we are – without preparation or expectation – embracing roughness and vulnerability while drawing on the simple and essential joy of sounding together.
