During the opening weekend, artist Diego Crux invites you to an activation of his installation: Tudo fica Blues in Schwarz Weiß is the first "Blue Selecta" activation of his interactive work *Tudo fica Blue*. During the performance, the artist manipulates the work and creates visual compositions in real time while curating a "selecta" – a playlist specially chosen by the artist – establishing connections between the images, sounds, and encounters taking place in the space.
The activation also incorporates a reading of the poem *Blues in Schwarz Weiß* by May Ayim. Blending music, imagery, and spoken word, the performance brings together diverse forms of storytelling and memory from the Black diaspora, transforming *Tudo fica Blue* into a space for live composition, listening, and the circulation of cultural references.
PORTUGUÊS
Tudo Fica Blues in Schwarz Weiß é a primeira ativação Blue Selecta do trabalho interativo Tudo fica Blue, de Diego Crux. Na ação, o artista manipula o trabalho e cria composições imagéticas em tempo real enquanto conduz uma selecta – uma playlist especialmente selecionada pelo artista – estabelecendo relações entre as imagens, os sons e os encontros que acontecem no espaço.
A ativação incorpora ainda a leitura do poema "Blues in Schwarz Weiß", de May Ayim, realizada por Lema Sikod. Entre música, imagem e palavra, a ação aproxima diferentes formas de fabulação e memória da diáspora negra, fazendo do Tudo fica Blue um espaço de composição ao vivo, escuta e circulação de referências.
COLLABORATION This project is part of Fundação Bienal de São Paulo’s travelling exhibitions programme, held since 2011. The travelling exhibitions have become a fundamental extension of the Bienal de São Paulo, enabling the works and debates presented at the Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion to be reconfigured in dialogue with diverse local contexts, activating new readings and relationships with audiences beyond the main exhibition axis. In its 36th edition, this movement reaches fifteen new territories across Brazil and internationally.
The Berlin Edition of the 36th Bienal de São Paulo will be on view at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW) from 12 September to 6 December 2026. The exhibition Not All Travellers Walk Roads—Of Humanity as Practice opens there on 11 September 2026 [more details here].
SUPPORT The project is supported by the Fundação Bienal de São Paulo, the Berlin Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt, SAVVY friends e.V., Zielinsky Gallery, and private donors.

The opening of Architectural Echotones. A Poetics Of The Surrounds takes place as part of Berlin Art Week.
