BERLIN-LAGOS RESIDENCY PROGRAM 2022

We are honoered to welcome Stacey Ejiroghene Okparavero to Berlin for a 3 months stay within the Lagos-Berlin residency programme by the Goethe-Institut Nigeria together with the partners hFACTOR / plan-b residency ,  SAVVy Contemporary and ZK/U – Center for Art and Urbanistics.

Stacey Ravvero is a multidisciplinary artist and author from Nigeria. Her multifaceted practice investigates the human experience with focus on socio-political and environmental issues, through a robust sensory experience of diverse media. Which includes metal fabrication, painting, poetry and performance.

During her residency in Berlin, Stacey Ravvero will investigate, cultivate and deconstruct creative processes by simulating liminal spaces, in order to challenge routine, spark creativity, investigate the possibilities of the human mind; in order to open up dialogues for sustainable creative spaces within cities, that are in harmony with nature.
