Acid in the Taste of Things

We are excited to welcome back the thinker, artist, friend, shaker and admonisher Olu Oguibe. He will be reading from his work of poetry and engage in a conversation with Adam Szymczyk –– on politics and poetics, Fremdlinge and how politics leave “an acid in the taste of things.”

Olu Oguibe is an artist and intellectual. He participated in documenta 14. Adam Szymczyk is an art critic and curator. He was the director of Kunsthalle Basel and the artistic director of documenta 14.

Olu Oguibe will give a public lecture on 20.07.2017 (19:30) at Spike Art Quartely as part the Saas Fee Summer Institute of Art which was founded and is directed by Warren Neidich and is co-directed by Barry Schwabsky. We give thanks to them for inviting and bringing Olu to town.
